Officer
The overall desire to help people, no matter the situation, made me want to become a police officer.
No, no one in my family works in law enforcement.
I was recruited by First Sergeant Wilson.
I meet new people every day.
The amount of paperwork that has to be done daily was not expected.
I’m very shy outside of work.
It is a great department to be a part of, and the opportunities are endless within the department.
The misconception that female officers cannot perform the same duties as male officers still prove to exist.
Seeing the difference I have made in someone’s day or life, and seeing the positive impact that I, as well as my coworkers, are making on our community.
I would not use the word “typical”, but taking calls and interacting with the public as much as I can.
I enjoy playing softball, going to the movies, and eating out with friends.
